Everest by Fog

I'm a speculative fiction author and lifelong aspirant, struggling with motivation and craft like us all. The skills of writing, the hope and the despair are all part of the beauty of art, so here I embrace them. Here I'll share my journey, everything I learn along this arduous hike for self-discovery up Mount Everest. Whether you're after the rants of a once frustrated student, now frustrated author, or just the sound advice of a snide Canadian, Everest by Fog is here... and now so are you.

The greatest art is courage. The quest is everywhere.

I'm not new to writing, but I'm fairly new to being published. Literary proclivities have shifted from Sword & Sorcery to Science Fiction to Literary, back to Soft Science Fiction and now I've settled on being someone who just doesn't respect genre norms. I have my own ideas and they're mostly quasi-realistic, so I'm a Speculative Fiction author. I'm represented by Leslie Gardner of Artellus Ltd. I've been the apprentice of Scott Bradfield and Paul McAuley. Now I'm polishing my first novel up in the West Midlands.
